SATURDAY 23RD OCTOBER - Day 6

Following a couple of small hold ups one being the delivery of the SHG we decided to work on the property today Saturday. This was firstly agreed with the Client then with the neighbours to each side of the rpoerty. This also helped a coupleof our trades to push their work on due to number of opperatives in side the house being reduced.

Above shows the Silver soldering of the manifold and the seamless joint copper tubing is being completed here. This enables us to remove the 3rd lift scaffold once the pipework has had Nitrogen put in on test and completed. The Nitrogen will also remove any moisture prior to the Refrigerant being put into the system.

To the right the hot water cylinder was completed yesterday along with the return duct from the HRU to the living room. This has enabled us to construct the proposed new airing cupboard which the tenant is looking forward to for additional storage. She has also commented that the old airing cupboard will give her children much needed storage in the 3rd bedroom.

HRU from the Kitchen. Also you can see the return vents from the unit and solar efficient light fittings to the bedrooms.

Careful setting out of the base is undertaken here for the Solar Heat Gain Block. It is essential to set it out leaving sufficient area behind, to the sides and front of the proposed SHGB.

To the right a new ceiling goes in the kitchen and plastered.
